Mark is a physiotherapy graduate from Trinity College Dublin. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Exercise Physiology from the same University Over the past 7 years he has specialised in Sports Injury rehabilitation, and performance coaching and optimisation, working across Soccer, GAA, Rugby and athletics/Triathlon.
Mark is also an international marathon runner, having competed in the 2012 Olympic Games for Ireland. He has won National titles on track, road and cross country, and has been competing internationally since 2002.
Laura is a physiotherapy graduate from Brunel University, London. Her experience includes hospital work in Mullingar and eight years private practice experience specialising in musculo-skeletal out-patients, sports injuries, dry needling and post-surgery orthopaedic rehabilitation. She has previously worked with GAA and Rugby teams and inter and county levels. She is now involved in managing the physiotherapy for Leixlip United Football club at all levels.
Laura also specialises in women’s health issues treating areas of incontinence, bladder dysfunction, hypertone, pre and post natal musculoskeletal issues. She is a qualified pilates instructor teaching up to 8 classes a week at all levels.
She is a keen athlete and takes part in numerous marathons, adventure races and triathlons. She is currently training for her first long distance triathlon in Roth Germany 2014.
Albert, originally a native of South Africa, is a Strength and Conditioning Coach and Personal Trainer who has been working in the Health and Fitness Industry in Ireland for the past 9 years. He has a vast amount of experience in training individuals and teams such as in Rugby, G.A.A., Hockey and many other sports.
Albert is also a Neuromuscular and Physical Therapist and has a Certificate in Sports Psychology. He is experienced at developing and applying specialised rehabilitation programmes for injuries. His aim at Peak Performance Fitness as part of The Performance Clinic is to encourage and motivate people to achieve their short and long term goals, help them reach their peak levels of fitness and teach them how to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
